How it shifts by grade

The elementary Young Explorer series (Botany, Zoology, Astronomy, Anatomy, Earth Science, Chemistry and Physics) is read-aloud and multi-age for K-6 with narration and notebooking. The junior-high and high-school texts are independent, single-subject, one-year lab courses, so parent involvement and independence flip between the two levels.

Elementary authored by Jeannie Fulbright; secondary largely developed by Jay Wile originally, now revised by others. The biblical worldview is embedded in the science content, so this borders Core.
