Who it fits

Fits hands-on and kinesthetic learners, and kids with dyslexia or dysgraphia who do better talking and moving cards than diagramming or writing. Look elsewhere if you want a self-teaching program, a complete language-arts course, or something that keeps an independent worker busy on their own.

How it shifts by grade

Everyone starts with Basic at grade 4 and up. Hold Advanced until grade 7-8 since it assumes secure fundamentals and runs about two years. Winston Word Works can slot between the two.
