How each one plays by grade
Analytical Grammar
Grades 4-12
Fourth grade is the ideal start for Level 1, and kids who have studied grammar can place into Level 3. Four High School Reinforcement books keep skills sharp at about one lesson every two weeks.
Easy Grammar and Daily Grams
Grades 1-12
Grades 1-2 double as teaching-and-review books and need a parent. Grade 3 up are the core teaching workbooks, and because they repeat, many families use one level then coast on Daily Grams before jumping back in. Ultimate Series covers grades 8-12.

Who Analytical Grammar fits
Rigorous, diagram-based grammar done in focused bursts rather than dragged out year after year, and it suits logical kids who like puzzles. Look elsewhere if your child resists diagramming, needs an all-in-one language-arts program, or you want something gentle and untimed.
