How it shifts by grade
Grades 1-6 are the strength and where the ahead-of-grade reputation comes from. Grade 7 up brings leaner explanations and scope gaps, so many families switch programs for high school even when they loved the elementary years.
Additional notes
Two tracks share the name: print worktexts you teach, and Abeka Academy video on streaming or DVD. The video track is common and drives both the screen time and the price. Early grades expect you to use the curriculum guide and separately purchased teaching aids.
