How it shifts by grade
Most courses come in a lower (K-3) and an upper (4-6 or 5-8) edition, with high-school guides for several. Younger kids narrate orally; older ones write paragraphs and essays.
Additional notes
Founded by Rea Berg, now run by her son Josh. The Christian faith references are occasional and skippable, heaviest in the Early American guides, so secular families use it by skipping the faith prompts. Not a boxed program: you buy the guide, then the books.
